We are delighted that Project Laxford, our catchment-scale restoration project in partnership with Grosvenor’s Reay Forest Estate in northwest Sutherland, was recently featured on the BBC’s Landward television show. This high-profile platform allowed us to communicate to the public the importance of restoring natural processes in river catchments to secure a viable future for wild Atlantic salmon and sea trout. The piece detailed some of the extensive habitat restoration work planned for the catchment, as well as the cutting-edge monitoring techniques being implemented to measure success over time.
