New Moray Firth Tracking Project Video Highlights Preliminary Findings

As the Moray Firth Tracking Project enters its final stages, our new short update video shines a light on some of the project’s preliminary findings before the full analysis takes place. We’re gaining valuable evidence to show how human-modified river catchments with ‘pinch points’ are affecting the downstream migration success of our wild salmon smolts.

What Happens Next?

It’s vital that our hard-won scientific evidence translates into real-world action for our wild salmon. That’s why our team is now hard at work performing a full, in-depth analysis of the results with the aim of providing fishery managers with a set of actionable management recommendations in early 2023.
