An Early Christmas Present for Atlantic Salmon
The Atlantic Salmon Trust really welcomes the Environment Agency decision to close the Northumbrian drift net fishery and to prevent those remaining T & J nets from taking salmon from 2019 onwards. This decision helps protect those fish that have successfully survived the perils and challenges they face in this rapidly changing world, giving them a chance to pass on their genes to future generations.
