We are delighted to announce that, Frödinflies, the Scandinavian fly fishing brand known for its dedication to sustainable angling, is donating €50,000 to the Atlantic Salmon Trust to support restoration work across the United Kingdom.
This follows last year’s donation of 500,000 SEK (€45,000) to the Baltic Salmon Fund, supporting the buyout of commercial salmon traps along the Baltic Sea coastline. Both initiatives are financed through Frödinflies’ Wild Salmon Series – a collection of limited-edition products created to directly fund salmon conservation.
The latest donation comes from a numbered limited edition of 25 complete rod sets, each containing four premium travel salmon rods, beautifully presented in handcrafted buffalo leather tubes. Each of the 25 Wild Salmon Series sets represents both a technical and aesthetic masterpiece – and, more importantly, a direct contribution to protecting the wild salmon rivers of Great Britain.

‘For us, it was natural to support the preservation of wild salmon and the rivers where the art of fly fishing for salmon once began.
As a small company, we have now donated a total of 1,000,000 SEK (€95,000) to wild salmon conservation. The wild salmon needs us now more than ever. We hope more companies in the fishing tackle trade will follow us. It’s time to stop talking and start acting.’
