2025 Charity Clay Shoot raises £55,000 for wild salmon conservation

Thanks to our sponsors, donors and shooting teams, for making this year’s Charity Clay Shoot our best ever!

Thanks to our sponsors – INEOS Grenadier & BaxterStorey

This year our ever popular Charity Clay Shoot moved to Holland & Holland on the outskirts of London. Generously sponsored by INEOS Grenadier and BaxterStorey, we welcomed 17 teams of shooters for a wonderful day out in the sun, all in support of our work to restore wild Atlantic salmon and their environment. Together, we raised an incredible £55,000!

A day of fun in the sun – for an important cause

The day started with registration and breakfast, followed by opening remarks from our Head of Fundraising & Events, Tiggy Pettifer, and Trustee, Dylan Williams. This was followed by an historical re-enactment from our chairman, Pedro Landale, who was tasked with the firing of the Holland & Holland cannon.

From there, it was off out onto the shooting course of 10 stands, some easy and some extremely challenging! Tactics came into play with teams having to decide at which stand to play their ‘Joker’ card to double-up on points, and the course also featured a fly casting challenge and opportunity to shoot a very special Holland & Holland gun. Teams were treated while out on the course to hot coffee and sublime sausage rolls delivered by the Holland & Holland buggy.

Back at the clubhouse, teams sat down to enjoy a mouth-watering three-course lunch prepared by Michelin-trained Executive Chef, Josh Hunter, followed by prize giving for the highest (and lowest!) scoring teams and individuals, as well as an exclusive live auction.

Our enormous thanks go to INEOS Grenadier and BaxterStorey for their sponsorship, without whom this event wouldn’t have been possible. Our thanks also go to YETI & Holland & Holland for their wonderful support, our auction donors for providing incredible lots for our guests to bid on, and of course our teams! Without you, we cannot continue our vital research and restoration work for wild Atlantic salmon and the environments they depend on.
