We are delighted to announce that Project Deveron, a partnership between the Deveron, Bogie & Isla Rivers Charitable Trust and Atlantic Salmon Trust, has been shortlisted for an Environment Monitoring & Measurement Achievement (EMMA) Award – 2026.
The nomination in the Integrated Monitoring Across Water, Land & Air category, recognises the project’s innovative approach to understanding and restoring one of Scotland’s most iconic salmon rivers.
Alongside habitat improvements across the catchment, the partnership has rolled out a monitoring network that provides unprecedented insight into how wild Atlantic salmon and the wider river ecosystem respond to restoration interventions over time.
Being shortlisted is a testament to the strength of the partnership and the dedication of everyone involved in delivering and supporting Project Deveron. We are incredibly proud to see this work recognised and would like to thank the many funders, land managers, researchers and volunteers whose collaboration is making Project Deveron possible.
