The challenges facing wild Atlantic salmon are complex. Their future is shaped not by one pressure or one solution, but by what happens across rivers, landscapes, coasts and oceans – and by the decisions we make about how those environments are understood, managed and restored.

Headwaters is the Atlantic Salmon Trust’s platform for ideas, insight and informed debate. It brings together voices from across science, conservation, policy and practice to explore the big questions facing wild salmon and the ecosystems they depend upon.
